Get an ERP Health Check
and see what your system should be doing for you
Find out if you're getting the full value from your ERP
Many businesses come to Codestone with a feeling that their ERP could be doing more. It might be a report that’s never quite shown what they need, a process the team has learned to work around, a module that was bought but never switched on, or performance that has gradually slowed over time.
A Codestone health check helps you understand what’s really behind it, whether that’s the system itself, the way it was set up, or simply how your business has grown and changed since. Each has a different answer, and often the best improvements come from making better use of what you already have, without needing to spend more.
What we look at
We cover six areas, and it takes roughly half a day of your team’s time:
-
How the system is set up against how you actually work now, which is where most of the friction comes from
-
How it is performing, including the slow screens and long-running reports people have stopped complaining about
-
Where the security and access risks sit
-
Which processes are handled outside the system in spreadsheets, and why
-
How your people find using it, since low adoption usually traces back to design and more training rarely fixes it
-
Whether the setup will carry where the business is heading, or is already at its limit

How it works
The Health Check begins with a short conversation about what is bothering you, so Codestone looks for the right thing from the start. The assessment itself is non-intrusive and runs against your system without disrupting anyone’s day.
Our consultants then analyse what they found, and we come back and walk you through it in person, so you are not left interpreting a document on your own. The walkthrough is the useful part, because the reasoning behind a recommendation matters as much as the recommendation.

What you get
A Health Check that recommends everything is just a proposal in a different font. The Codestone Health Check gives you a written report setting out what is working, what isn’t and what we would do about each item, sorted into things you can fix yourself, things worth investing in and things to leave alone.
What does it cost, and what happens next?
The check itself is free and is simply a matter of us spending time with the people who know you system best. Afterwards, some businesses act on the report themselves, some ask us to fix specific things and some move their support across. All three are fine outcomes, and the report is yours either way.
Codestone has been implementing and supporting ERP systems for 30 years, and we regularly take on support for systems another partner implemented. Reviewing somebody else’s setup is routine work for us, and we know where the usual problems hide.

Common questions
-
Which systems can you check?
SAP Business One most often, as well as SAP S/4HANA and other ERP platforms. We can review a system we did not implement, which is the situation most people booking one are in.
-
How much of our time does it take?
Around half a day from the people who know the system, usually split between a conversation at the start and the walkthrough at the end. The assessment itself does not need anyone sitting with us.
-
Is it really free?
Yes. The check and the report are complimentary. Acting on the findings may not be, and the report separates the two clearly so you can see which is which.
-
Will it disrupt the system?
No. The assessment is read-only and runs alongside normal operation. Nobody needs to stop working and nothing gets changed.
-
What if the report says we should switch systems?
Then it says so and explains why. It is an uncomfortable conclusion to deliver and occasionally the right one. More often the finding is that the system is capable and the configuration has drifted from how the business now runs.
